DOCSIS Security Config Example

• docsDevNMAccessTable specifies what NMS’s can access a DOCSIS device

• Action script on next page adds an NMS address to the list

  • Ensures that the NMS has access

• Filter might be:

  • capMatch(‘docsis’); or,
  • roleMatch(“domain1”) && capMatch(‘docsis’)
    • To divvy up millions of agents amongst multiple managers
